Princess Eugenie: in the midst of controversy with her husband, she puts an end to rumors about her war with Meghan Markle

While she is currently the subject of all the attention because of the trip to Italy of her husband Jack Brooksbank, Princess Eugenie wanted to set the record straight on her relationship with Meghan Markle.

What dispute? On Wednesday, August 4, Meghan Markle celebrated her 40th birthday by appearing in a surprise video unveiled by comedian Melissa McCarthy to promote her new initiative, 40×40. The goal? To encourage people around the world to give 40 minutes of their time to help women get back to work.

A great initiative from the Duchess of Sussex, who called on several personalities to give the example and spread this beautiful message of solidarity and emancipation, as the singer Adele, Stella McCartney or Hillary Clinton and … Princess Eugenie!

While her husband Jack Brooksbank has been the subject of controversy for several days for being seen on a boat in Italy with topless models, the princess has set the record straight on her relationship with Meghan Markle, while the two women were said to be angry since the latter announced her pregnancy at the wedding of Prince Harry’s cousin, stealing the spotlight in passing.

It is obviously not, since it is with great enthusiasm that the daughter of Prince Andrew took part in this project. “To celebrate the 40th birthday of dear Meghan, I contribute to 40 minutes of mentoring to help women re-enter the workforce,” she wrote in a story on Instagram.

Eugenie and Meghan long-time friends?

Friends with Meghan Markle before she married Prince Harry in 2018, Princess Eugenie has always reached out to her cousin since he chose to leave the British royal family and move to Los Angeles with his family. While they have always been close since childhood, it was to the Duke of Sussex that Prince Andrew’s daughter turned when she was looking for a home to settle down with her husband and their little boy August, investing Frogmore Cottage. A place where she gladly welcomed Prince Harry on his return to Britain, for the funeral of Prince Philip or last July, for the inauguration of the statue of Lady Diana.
