Currently on summer vacation at Balmoral, Elizabeth II attended to inspect the troops of Balaklava, Monday, August 9. And on this occasion, the queen was beautiful in a flowery dress under an elegant pink coat.

Elizabeth II is out! Recently arrived at Balmoral for her first summer vacation since the death of Prince Philip, the Queen has lost no time in securing some engagements near her Scottish estate. Thus, on Monday August 9th, she participated in the inspection of the troops of Balaklava Company, 5th Battalion of the Royal Regiment of Scotland, and this in a very elegant outfit. Dressed in a flowery dress, she reviewed the soldiers, wearing a pink hat that matched her coat, which was probably a sign of temperatures far from summer despite a beautiful weather.

Very attached to Scotland, where she went on an official trip last June, during which she handed over the keys of Edinburgh, Elizabeth II has made her home at Balmoral her summer residence for many years. Attached to a huge estate, the Queen can go for the long horse rides she so much enjoys, surrounded by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Moreover, for her first summer without Prince Philip, she decided to receive some of them, such as Kate Middleton and Prince William, or Prince Edward and his wife Countess Sophie of Wessex.

Who are the Queen’s grandchildren who will come to Balmoral?

Indeed, they are expected with their two children, Lady Louise and James, Viscount Severn, to whom Elizabeth II is very close, as well as Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice, who will come with their respective husbands. Currently pregnant with her first child, Princess Beatrice, who recently celebrated her birthday, will come with Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, while her sister Eugenie will be accompanied by Jack Brooksbank, at the heart of a scandal during a trip to Italy, as well as their son, little August born last February.
