Carl Philip of Sweden: a prince as charming as ever in Eskilstuna

Prince Carl Philip of Sweden caused a sensation on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 August during the traditional annual go-kart race, organized by him, called Prins Carl Philips Racing Pokal.

One thing is sure, the prince did not fail to make a sensation. On Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 August took place the mythical annual Karting race called Prins Carl Philips Racing Pokal on the track Eskilstuna in Sweden. Organized by Prince Carl Philip since 2013, this car competition brings together every year great speed enthusiasts. During this weekend, the Duke of Värmland did not hesitate to take the wheel and participate in the races. According to the information disclosed on the Facebook page of the event, Prince Carl Philips has also tested the Rotax Max DD2 fueled by gasoline, then took place in a Rotax E20, an electric karting.

A return to the track that must delight Sofia Hellqvist’s husband. Indeed, almost two years ago, the brother of Madeleine and Victoria of Sweden had voluntarily retired from motor racing. A decision that he had explained on Instagram. “In 2019, I will devote much more time to my family and I will wait until next year to return to motor racing. However, I don’t rule out returning to this passion during the year to maintain my driving,” he had explained.
