On the occasion of the three years of her marriage, this Tuesday, October 12, Princess Eugenie shared on Instagram a photo of the ceremony, celebrated in St. George’s Chapel in Winsdor. An anniversary that comes only a few months after the birth of his son, August Philip Hawke Brooksbank.
This Tuesday, October 12 marks day for day the three years of marriage of Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank. Wedding wheat that the daughter of Prince Andrew wanted to celebrate on Instagram, through an unpublished shot of the ceremony, held in St. George’s Chapel in Windsor. “Happy birthday my love, three years today!” wrote the granddaughter of Elizabeth II in caption, under a photo of the couple all smiles embracing on the dance floor.
For her wedding, Eugenie of York had set her heart on a dress designed by Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos. As Hello Magazine recalls, it was designed with a bare back to allow the princess to show the scar left by her scoliosis. This wedding anniversary comes 8 months after the birth of August Philip. Born in February, the only son of Eugenie of York and Jack Brooksbank is the 9th great-grandson of Elizabeth II. However, he will not have an official title.
One marriage leads to another
Eugenie of York and Jack Brooksbank met more than ten years ago, in 2010, during a stay in Switzerland. Three years older than her, the princess’ suitor was at the time managing a nightclub in London, before starting a business in the wine industry. He later became an ambassador for Casamigos, George Clooney’s tequila brand. The couple’s October 2018 wedding was somewhat overshadowed by Meghan Markle and Harry’s lavish ceremony. The event, broadcast worldwide in May 2018, had been watched by nearly two billion viewers.
