On the occasion of the Easter weekend, Charlene of Monaco ended long weeks of absence. The princess appeared alongside her husband and twins Jacques and Gabriella for a beautiful family photo.
For many months, the absence of Charlene of Monaco weighed on the hearts of Monegasques and admirers of the princely family. Fortunately, the princess has returned to the Rock. Moreover, she showed herself this Sunday, April 17, in form, for sublime family photos. On the occasion of Easter, the Palace of Monaco unveiled the pictures with a caption: “LL.AA.SS. Prince Albert and Princess Charlene wish you a very happy Easter”. Radiant, the 44-year-old South African is installed in a garden, near a pool, surrounded by her family. Her beige dress matched perfectly with the off-white suit of Prince Albert and the very light looks of James and Gabriella, the 7-year-old twins. In another photo, the family was photographed from behind attending a private mass.
What happiness to find the princely family after the difficult period that was crossed by Charlene and her husband. Especially since Prince Albert tested positive for Covid-19 on April 13. Indeed, the Princely Palace issued a statement announcing the news: “He is working remotely, in permanent liaison with members of his cabinet, his government and his close collaborators. This period of isolation will be adapted to the health rules in force”. Fortunately, Albert of Monaco has not had any symptoms.
Charlene’s return to the Principality
Finally, Charlene of Monaco will be able to spend “privileged and convivial moments with the Monegasques who missed her so much”. Officially back since March 12, a press release announced her state of health: “In agreement with her doctors and while her recovery is well underway, their serene highnesses have agreed that Princess Charlene can now continue her convalescence in the Principality, with her husband and children. The document was completed by reassuring words that calmed the rumors about the unavailability of the princess: “In this perspective, Princess Charlene has just returned to Monaco where she is happy to have returned to her family and friends. The next few weeks should allow her to fully recover before she can gradually resume her official activities.”
