For many years, Charlene of Monaco and Victoria Silvstedt have followed each other closely. After participating in many Monegasque events, the model has confirmed her participation in the next edition of the Riviera Water Bike Challenge.
The Yacht Club of Monaco will give the start of the next Riviera Water Bike Challenge, on June 5, 2022. This is an important charity event, organized by the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation, to benefit the “Swim for Safety” project. This project aims to raise awareness and teach young disadvantaged children swimming and water safety. To this end, the Monegasque event will bring together eighteen teams of five participants, who will compete in a water bike relay race on the port of Monaco. Of course, among the participants there are many celebrities from the world of sports, or even relatives of the princely family. Victoria Silvstedt is the proof. The model, very close to Charlene of Monaco, has confirmed her participation in the event. She will be part of the AMAO team (Monegasque Association of Olympic Athletes), alongside Jack Doohan.
The participation of the pretty blonde was not a surprise for anyone. Indeed, the latter has always had a very good relationship with Charlene of Monaco. So much so that they have already been seen at many important events together. Among them, we find the wedding of Charlene Wittstock and Prince Albert II of Monaco in July 2011. “I’m even better friends with Charlene, his fiancée. A great girl. Everyone is very happy here: we were waiting for them, this engagement,” the radio host had said to Télé Loisirs in 2011.
Victoria Silvstedt, a daily support
Unfortunately, Charlene of Monaco has lived a dark year. After suffering from a serious infection of the ENT sphere, the princess announced the death of her Chihuahua last October. The 44-year-old former swimmer posted a photo of herself smiling as she embraced her dog, accompanied by a touching caption: “My little angel died last night, she was crushed. I will miss you so much, Rest in peace.” Obviously, Victoria Silvstedt, who has always supported her, reacted to the publication. The latter, very touched by the news, responded with a broken heart emoji.
