Albert of Monaco and his eldest son Alexandre: This father-son lunch far from Charlene

Before the Monaco Formula 1 Grand Prix, on May 27, Albert of Monaco enjoyed alone his son Alexandre, fruit of his former relationship with Nicole Coste, by sharing a meal with him.

Although Albert of Monaco devotes much of his time to his young twins, Jacques and Gabriella, from his marriage to Princess Charlene, he does not forget his other children. Father of Jazmin Grace Grimaldi, born in 1992 and fruit of his former history with an American vacationer, he also has a son, named Alexander. This one was born in 2003 and his mother is Nicole Coste, flight attendant. On May 27, the Monegasque spent a moment with him, in Beaulieu-sur-Mer, in the Alpes-Maritimes.

The young man of 19 years and Albert II enjoyed a brunch together, the day before the Formula 1 Grand Prix of Monaco, as revealed by our Spanish colleagues of the site Quién. They appeared complicit at the restaurant “African Queen”. The next day, Alexandre, his father, but also Nicole Coste, attended the automotive event on the Rock. On her Instagram account, for Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 29, the latter posted a picture on which she is surrounded by the one who is considered the illegitimate son of the Monegasque prince (who has nevertheless always looked after him financially), but also her other two big boys. On March 14, for the birthday of the husband of Princess Charlene, she published a photo of her posing with her son Alexander and his father. A proof that the trio continues to see each other from time to time, even if the respective lives of all are very different.

A “protective” father who has common passions with his son

Last September, Nicole Coste and the son she had with Albert of Monaco were on the cover of Paris Match. An event associated with a rare interview given by the mother of the family. She explained that the prince had “always assumed his role as a father” and that with his grown-up child they “like to practice sports together and, sometimes, talk about politics”. Referring to the Monegasque’s attitude towards Alexander’s education, she said that he was “very protective of his son” and that, “until now, [they have] taken the important decisions together”.
