Jubilee of Elizabeth II: The Queen in hologram to greet her subjects?

As reported by the magazine Point de Vue, this Tuesday, May 31, during the Jubilee of Elizabeth II, the spectators present will be able to discover a hologram of the Queen on June 5.

As the Jubilee of Elizabeth II approaches, rehearsals are in order. In particular, to celebrate the reign of the 96 year old monarch as it should be. For the occasion, and as relayed by Point de Vue, this Tuesday, May 31, several members of the palace have paraded, from 4:30 am, in the streets of the capital.

These festivities will begin with the Trooping the Colour parade, which will take place on Thursday, June 2. In addition to this, and as the days go by, several events are planned to salute the Platinum Jubilee of Elizabeth II. But one of them is likely to make a lot of talk. Indeed, as our confreres have specified, the state gold coach – which has not been used since 2022 – will also be part of the party during this celebration. When the vehicle will parade through the streets on June 5, spectators will be able to see a hologram of the queen inside. “An animated image of her” young, on which she will greet – in a loop – her fervent supporters.

A little unexpected for the Jubilee

During these important days for the British royal family, one ceremony was marked by a small incident. Indeed, as the Sunday Times’ royal expert Roya Nikkhah pointed out on her Twitter account on Monday, May 30, the Archbishop of Canterbury will not be able to perform the ceremony scheduled in St. Paul’s Cathedral in London.

As the journalist said, the clergyman tested positive for Covid-19. “I am suffering from mild pneumonia,” wrote the archbishop in a statement, shared by the expert, , before stating that he is “deeply saddened” not to participate in the festivities. Fortunately for Elizabeth II, the mass will still be provided but by the Archbishop of York, Stephen Cottrell.
