Princess Charlene and Prince Albert of Monaco, sneaky getaway in Norway, a great event celebrated

After a forced isolation because of Covid, Charlene of Monaco will make her big return to the light, during a trip to Norway with her husband, Prince Albert of Monaco.

On June 22, 2022, the princely couple will travel to this Scandinavian country, on the occasion of the 18th birthday of Ingrid Alexandra.


The presence of Charlene and Albert of Monaco has been confirmed by the official website of the Royal Palace.

“At 2 p.m. at the royal estate of Bygdø, Charlene and Albert meet King Harald, 85, Queen Sonja, 84, Princess Mette-Marit, 48, Prince Haakon, 48, and Princess Märtha Louise, 50, for lunch,” it said.

In an interview with the JDD, Prince Albert of Monaco said he was delighted with the return of the mother of his twins, Gabriella and Jacques after a long absence for illness.

“We missed the princess a lot (…) Today, Charlene is back among us and this is the most beautiful thing that could happen,” he said in an interview with the Journal du dimanche, on the occasion of the release of his book, L’Homme et l’Océan, a manifesto for the preservation of the oceans (Flammarion editions). “Charlene is better, we can finally spend time together. It’s a relief and a joy for all of us”.
