What a surprise! Princess Charlene of Monaco participated in the opening ceremony of the 61st Monte-Carlo Television Festival with Prince Albert, Friday June 17.
Princess Charlene is making her return little by little in the spotlight. After her remarkable appearance at the Monaco Grand Prix, the royal continues her commitments with the opening ceremony of the 61st Monte Carlo Television Festival. Friday, June 17 on the arm of her husband Prince Albert, Charlene of Monaco created the surprise in an emerald green asymmetrical dress of the Lanvin label. A glamorous silhouette that she accessorized with a pair of diamond earrings and golden strappy stilettos.
Photographed on stage with Theo Christine, – the winner of the Nymphe d’Or for the best international hopeful for his role as JoeyStarr in Suprêmes -, and Albert II, the princess seemed delighted to be present at the event. The royal couple even posed for the photographers with big smiles on their faces. Dressed in a black suit, a white shirt with a red tie, as usual, the prince finds the pleasure of making official outings with his side Charlene of Monaco. This appearance of the couple confirms the beginning of a new and better chapter in their history.
Princess Charlene of Monaco and Albert II more united than ever
This outing of the royal couple comes shortly after Prince Albert gave an interview to the Journal du dimanche in which he confided on the long absence of his wife. “It has been a trial! An ordeal for my wife, above all, who has suffered a lot and has lived difficult moments, far from her family. A trial also for our children and for myself. We missed the princess a lot” he said. Before continuing on the subject of the gossip divulged about them: “We were obviously hurt by the malicious rumors that have been spread. But we knew how to stay united despite the distance, we talked a lot.” Fortunately, the situation worked out for them. “Today, Charlene is back with us and that’s the best thing that could happen. She is better and we can finally spend time together,” says Albert of Monaco.
