Charlene of Monaco had warned: “My health is still fragile”. If the princess resumes service, she spares her efforts. During her official visit to Oslo with Prince Albert II and her children on Wednesday, June 22, the mother of Jacques and Gabriella changed her plans at the last minute, reports the magazine Vinatatis El Confidencial.
Charlene of Monaco is well and truly back on the Rock. Away from the Monegasque principality for health reasons and a convalescence of several months, the Princess of Monaco resumes the social life. Alongside her husband Prince Albert II, the mother of Jacques and Gabriella is once again participating in official events. This Wednesday, June 22, it was with her family that they inaugurated the exhibition “Sailing the Sea of Science, Scientist and explorer. Prince Albert I and the early Norwegian exploration of Svalbard” at the Fram Museum in Oslo, Norway.
For this first official trip abroad since her return to Monaco, the former swimmer opted for a black suit composed of a wool jacket and pants detailed with Swarovski beads. Radiant during the visit of the places paying tribute to Albert 1st, the trisaïeul of her husband, Charlene Wittstock has then shone by its absence for the “rest of the program”. As reported by the Vinatatis magazine El Confidencial, she did not take part in “the inauguration of a bronze bust of Albert I at the Norwegian Polar Institute in Longyearbyen” and in the “private cruise on board the Commander Charcot in the waters of the Svalbard archipelago”.
Princess Charlene and Albert of Monaco: The kiss that nobody expected
Despite the absence of Charlene, Albert of Monaco could realize one of his dreams. It is accompanied by his twins that the prince went to the Arctic in the afternoon of Thursday, June 23. The trio visited the Svalbard Research Institute, then father and son “made a private visit to the research park of Longyearbyen and Svalbard during a trip,” report our confreres. This time again the South African was not present at their side, but the couple appeared very close in front of photographers at the opening of the exhibition dedicated to the great-great-grandfather of the prince. Albert II and his wife exchanged a kiss as unexpected as unusual. A gesture of affection that silenced the many rumors announcing their divorce.
In the columns of Monaco Matin of May 24, Charlene confided for the first time on his withdrawal from media life that has raised many questions. “My health is still fragile and I don’t want to go too fast. The road has been long, difficult and so painful. But today, I feel more serene,” she began by explaining. I still find it regrettable that some media are spreading such rumors about my life. We are human beings and like any human being we have emotions, fragilities, only our family is exposed in the media and the slightest weakness is relayed”.
