In the future, Charlene of Monaco would no longer need her sister-in-law, Stephanie of Monaco, who had made her apartment available to her during the renovation of a wing of the Palace. The renovations are now complete.
As reported by the magazine “Ici Paris”, the younger sister of Prince Albert of Monaco had not hesitated to put “immediately at the disposal of her sister-in-law this beautiful place”, as long as Charlene of Monaco and her twins had remained “away from the palace”.
These renovations had been mentioned by the Monegasque first lady during an interview with the magazine “Time”.
The ex-killer of the pools revealed that she was preparing the renovation “especially of the wing where her private apartments are located”, underlining in passing that this decision was motivated by her desire to “gain confidence” and to “find her marks”.
And it is done, announced the Palace in a statement.
The public areas are also open after years of restoration. Great news for people wishing to visit the Princely Palace.
“The approach chosen by the restoration team tends to respect both the environment and the historical heritage,” it says in the statement.
It goes on to say that the Palace is “now home to a unique zoological garden with no less than 300 animals of some 60 different species”.
