Prince Albert and Princess Charlene of Monaco out and about: They renew a family tradition

After an absence of two years due to Covid-19, the traditional U Cavagnëtu picnic took place on September 3rd. As tradition dictates, it was in the Princess Antoinette Park that the princely family of Monaco shared a moment of conviviality with the residents of the principality.

A not-to-be-missed event for Monegasques and their spouses, the U Cavagnëtu picnic lived up to its promise. On Saturday, September 3, the residents of the Principality were able to enjoy exceptional festivities in Princess Antoinette Park. The program included an open-air mass followed by a meal in a rural setting with music provided by the U Cantin d’A Roca choir and a jazz quartet. But that’s not all. The citizens of the Rock were also able to enjoy the princely family. Prince Albert II, his wife Charlene and their twins arrived at the event in late afternoon. A moment of sharing for which each member of the Grimaldi clan wore a casual outfit. For the occasion, Charlene of Monaco wore a total white look. It is indeed in a long sleeveless lace tunic and wide pants signed Terrence Bray that the 44-year-old South African charmed the crowd. As for Prince Albert, he did not hesitate to mix colors by opting for beige pants, a white shirt and a sky blue jacket.

Proof of their complicity, Jacques and Gabriella, 7 years and a half, chose to opt for matching outfits signed Jacadi. The fabric of the dress of the young princess was indeed the same as that of the shirt of the heir. Only shadow in the picture: the hair styles for the least eccentric of the siblings. And for good reason, on Friday, September 2, Charlene of Monaco had not failed to reveal that Gabriella had struck again, scissors in hand. “Gabriella offered herself and her brother a new haircut! Impatient that the school resumes Monday … “, had thus indicated the wife of Prince Albert on his Instagram account. A publication had amused many Internet users. Indeed, the picture of the twins showing their unstructured mane had collected nearly 26,000 “likes” in just eleven hours.

Princess Charlene and Prince Albert: a tight couple

If Gabriella and Jacques go back to school on Monday, September 5, Charlene and Albert are also getting ready to go back to school. Indeed, after a summer that saw them receive the world’s elite at the traditional Rose Ball and the Monegasque Red Cross Gala, the royal couple intends to respect their commitments. After having stayed in a specialized facility to treat her physical and moral exhaustion, Charlene of Monaco seems more than ever invested in the royal life with her husband. In official visit to the Vatican last July, the duo displayed hand in hand before his meeting with Pope Francis. A serenity found.
