Prince William, Kate, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reunited: in the midst of mourning, they make a surprise appearance

While they had not yet been seen together since the death of Queen Elizabeth II, Thursday, September 8, Princes William and Harry, and their wives, Kate and Meghan, made a surprise appearance all four this Saturday, September 10.

They had not been seen together for a long time. This Saturday, September 10, Princes Harry and William, who have had a contentious relationship for many months, and their respective wives, Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton, made a surprise appearance and noticed at Windsor Castle, two days after the death of Queen Elizabeth II. All four gathered in the afternoon in front of the many bouquets of flowers placed at the foot of the building in memory of the late sovereign.

The two brothers and their wives first walked up the aisle of Windsor Castle with a solemn and synchronized step, before arriving, under the applause of the crowd present, in front of the residence. They then stood for a long time in front of the flowerbed to pay tribute to Elizabeth II. Harry and William were dressed in a simple black suit while Kate and Meghan each presented themselves in a sober black dress. This reunion of the sons of King Charles III visibly surprised as well as delighted the British people while their relations, known to be tense for some years, have only worsened lately.

Prince Harry and Prince William’s tributes to Queen Elizabeth II

As the United Kingdom mourns the loss of Elizabeth II, tributes are being paid across the country. On their side, some members of the family also wanted to honor the memory of the late monarch. Among them, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have posted a discreet message on their website “In memory of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II,” it reads. The new Prince of Wales, meanwhile, came out of silence this Saturday, September 10, by publishing a long letter on social networks. “On Thursday, the world lost an extraordinary leader, whose commitment to country, Kingdom and Commonwealth was absolute,” he began, before adding with emotion: “I lost a grandmother. And while I will mourn her loss, I will also feel incredibly grateful.”
