Back in England for the funeral of Elizabeth II, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were reunited with members of the Royal family. This Tuesday, September 13, the Sussex couple was seen at Buckingham Palace with King Charles III before the arrival of the queen’s coffin, says a British journalist on Twitter.
It is time to mourn. Between the ceremonies in tribute to Elizabeth II and his assumption of office, King Charles III can count on the support of his wife Camilla Parker Bowles, but also of his sons. For the first time in many months, Princes William and Harry are in England accompanied by their wives Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle. This Tuesday, September 13, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were spotted at Buckingham Palace, where the 73-year-old sovereign may soon settle. If no photographer was allowed to enter, photos were taken from outside.
On Twitter, Archie and Lilibet’s parents can be seen walking behind King Charles III in the palace. “No photo of the interior of Buckingham Palace tonight, but moments captured before the Queen’s coffin was received at the Grand Entrance by the family gave a glimpse,” the journalist wrote on the social network.
Princes William and Harry reconciled?
This September 8, Prince Harry rushed to the bedside of Elizabeth II when his doctors alerted about his health. On the spot, he found all his family. The very next day, Meghan Markle joined him and together they made a very noticeable appearance at Windsor Castle. Accompanied by Prince William and Kate Middleton, they discovered the flowerbed in tribute to Elizabeth II before greeting the crowd. A moment of unexpected unity for the two couples in cold since the Sussexes made explosive revelations to Oprah Winfrey.
If some fans of the monarchy see the return of the Fab Four (the four favorites, nickname given to the Beattles, ed.), some experts warn. For the star of British journalism Piers Morgan, this reunion orchestrated by Prince William is not disinterested. “They (William and Charles III, ed.) did it, because if Meghan showed up at the funeral on Monday, the press would only talk about her, and the king does not want that. He wants to talk about the Queen, and nothing else. No distractions”. Before recalling that the “rupture” between the two brothers remains: “Nobody knows if William and Harry will reconcile”.
