King Charles III: this “strong point” of Camilla that makes the king succumb

While Buckingham Palace is preparing for the coronation of the new sovereign of England, Charles III and Camilla Parker Bowles are more united than ever. Moreover, it seems that the king has found to his dear and tender an asset that would make all the difference.

The love story between Charles III and Camilla Parker Bowles has been much talked about. In the 1970s, the son of Elizabeth III was forced to marry Lady Diana while his eyes were on Camilla Parker Bowles. Fifty years after their meeting, and despite the pitfalls, the new king of England and his queen consort remain united in the face of adversity.

In the British magazine People, the royal photographer Arthur Edwards makes some revelations about Charles III and Camilla Parker Bowles. Following the royal family for nearly forty-five years, Edwards has analyzed the royal couple well and did not hesitate to give reasons why their complicity still remains intact. “The thing about Camilla, which I think is her strongest point, is that she has never lost touch with each other, and she makes him laugh… I have pictures of them laughing together,” he says. And if the Queen Consort’s humor seems to satisfy her husband, Arthur Edwards is convinced that it makes Charles III a happy man: “He is happy. And he always calls her ‘my darling wife’.”

He calls her “his darling wife

In his first official speech as king, delivered on the death of Elizabeth II, Charles III paid tribute to his wife: “I count on the loving help of my darling wife, Camilla.” A small nod to the one who has always accompanied and supported him. Of her, the father of Princes William and Harry says: “She is the non-negotiable part of my life.” Next April, the couple will celebrate their 18 years of marriage.
