In the meantime, fans of British royalty can always wait and discover the new book from the National Portrait Gallery, a famous London museum, dedicated to the life of the monarch. The Making of a King, as it is called, has been available for sale since March 23. This book reveals many pictures of the father of Princes Harry and William, but not only. Indeed, in this one, we find a magnificent photo of his ex-wife, Lady Diana, taken by John Swannell in 1994.

The book, which gathers 70 portraits related to King Charles III, shows a more intimate side of him and his bond with his family. These works are the result of multiple photographers, such as Cecil Beaton or Lord Snowdon and they are a tribute to the sovereign. It was not stated whether King Charles III had a say in the book and the choice of images before publication, but it is likely that his staff consulted him since this is a book dedicated to the upcoming coronation of the monarch.
