Royal Rift Persists: Prince William’s Unresolved Feud with Harry Sparks Controversy in Unexpected Collaboration…

Prince Harry is renewing his collaboration with Netflix. A close relationship with the famous platform that Prince William strongly dislikes. For good reason, Princess of Wales‘s husband has a grudge against the platform that broadcast The Crown, a series he accuses of exploiting the lives of his family.

A new collaboration that may not please Prince William. Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle are once again collaborating with Netflix. After the publication of their controversial documentary series Harry & Meghan, the Sussexes are renewing their collaboration with the platform. This is likely to annoy the eldest son of Charles III. The reason for this is that Netflix not only released Meghan and Harry’s series, but also the ultra-controversial royal drama The Crown. Prince William has questioned the historical accuracy of the series and does not appreciate the way in which the programme exploits his family’s history.

Although The Crown is about to bow out, the platform has just unveiled the first images of the final season. And guess what? Prince William is very hurt. According to the Mirror, the new season will feature William and Harry’s late mother, Princess Diana, as a ghost. Viewers will see the crowned head’s ghost make the late queen weep.

An undisclosed source told The Daily Beast that Harry’s collaboration with the platform has not gone down well with his brother. “William is angry about a lot of things in relation to Harry. His decision to work with Netflix, which has ruthlessly exploited his family, is certainly one of them. It’s incredibly hurtful to see his mother exploited again and again, and again in a sleazy way by Netflix. He won’t be watching it.”

The strained relationship between Prince William and Prince Harry

It’s no secret that relations between William and his brother Harry have been very strained in recent years. In the three years since Harry and Meghan resigned as active members of the royal family, the couple have criticised the monarchy on several occasions: in the Netflix documentary Harry & Meghan (2022) and in the memoir Harry The Spare (2023). In March 2021, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex also took part in an Oprah Winfrey interview in which they made a number of allegations against the royal family.

The couple were asked earlier this year to leave their British home Frogmore Cottage, as part of a decision sanctioned by the King, and therefore no longer have a foothold in England. The couple were reunited at the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations in June 2022, and again at her funeral in September. Prince Harry was last seen with Prince William when he attended the coronation of King Charles and Queen Camilla in May.
