Eugenie of York in Harry’s footsteps? Rumors of a move to the United States intensify

She is probably one of the last unfailing supporters of Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle. Close to her cousin since childhood, Princess Eugenie would be in the process of following the latter across the Atlantic, according to the British media Express.

Would Princess Eugenie of York be on her way to do a kind of Megxit? This is the question asked recently by the British press. Indeed, the youngest daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson was seen in Los Angeles at the art exhibition Frieze LA VIP according to the British newspaper Express in an article published on February 20. Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, flew to the U.S. to take a vacation and, according to local press, to visit the princess’ cousin Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle in Montecito, California.

This visit comes amidst rumors of an upcoming move to the United States. Currently, Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank divide their time between England and Portugal, where the latter has his professional obligations with the company Discovery Land for which he works. In an article published in early February 2023 by the DailyMail, friends of the royal couple reported that Meghan and Harry sent the duo selections of properties near their place of residence. The English media also specified that the couple was focusing their search on West Hollywood and that they wanted to rent before buying.

The United States, a conquered land for Eugenie

The art-loving princess that is Eugenie is no stranger to American lands. Aside from her regular visits to her cousin, the niece of Charles III has lived across the Atlantic in the past. Between 2013 and 2015, the latter worked for Paddle8, an online auction house based in New York. Today, moving to the United States would be above all a way to get closer to Prince Harry and Meghan, to whom she is very close. According to British media reports, the 32-year-old and her husband are waiting for the birth of their second child to take off.
