Prince Albert of Monaco has surprised everyone in recent days by appearing publicly with a large bandage on his face. The monarch is said to have sustained the injury following a minor domestic accident over the weekend of 4 and 5 November.
Prince Albert recently surprised and worried everyone around him and fans of the Monegasque principality. On Sunday 5 November, according to Purepeople, the monarch of the Rock, who is a great fan of football, appeared in the stands of the Louis II stadium in Monaco, and then during a visit to the city’s Théâtre des Variétés the following day, wearing an imposing bandage on his chin. The bandage is said to have been worn to protect the three stitches he recently received after an injury, but the Prince appeared in public shortly before the weekend without it.
In their article published on Tuesday 7 November, our confrères report that Jacques and Gabriella’s father injured himself while playing with his daughter, resulting in an accidental fall, which was not serious but which nevertheless required medical intervention with the famous three stitches. But the injury did not put the smile off the face of the husband of former professional sportswoman Princess Charlène, as he watched AC Monaco beat Brest 2-0.
A host of events in Monaco to celebrate Prince Rainier’s centenary
With 2023 marking the centenary of the birth of Prince Rainier III, Prince Albert of Monaco and the entire Princely Family have stepped up their outings, visits and events on the Rock to celebrate the occasion. A recent highlight was the centenary ball at the Casino de Monte-Carlo. It was a successful event, with the entire Grimaldi family demonstrating their strong and beautiful bond. The festivities surrounding this anniversary should not end at the end of 2023, since in tribute to Prince Rainier, his daughter Stéphanie will be in charge of organising the Monte-Carlo International Circus Festival, which will take place from 19 to 28 January next year!
