On Thursday 23 November, Princess Charlene of Monaco made a very special appearance. Prince Albert II’s companion took part in an event organised by a Monegasque charity with volunteers.
It was a wonderful moment of sharing. On 19 November, Charlene of Monaco joined the royal family to celebrate Monaco’s bank holidays. Four days later, Albert II’s companion was back in the news. This time, the former swimmer attracted attention for her commitment and sympathy. As revealed on the princely palace’s Instagram account, Charlene of Monaco was accompanied by volunteers from the Monegasque charity Chiens de cœur during a visit to a retirement home, the Cap Fleuri residence. Chiens de cœur is an association that visits elderly people every month to offer them dog-assisted therapy.
It’s a mission that is particularly close to Charlene’s heart, as she is president of the Monegasque SPA. For this visit like no other, Prince Albert’s wife opted for an autumnal look. Wearing camel-coloured wide-leg trousers, a knitted jumper in the same colour and a pretty printed scarf, Charlene of Monaco captured the hearts of her fans. “Our princess is gorgeous,” said one internet user below the post on the princely palace’s Instagram account. “The most beautiful princess with a big heart,” said one observer, while another wrote: “Charlene is happy and even more beautiful.”

The day before this surprise visit, Charlene of Monaco also made a remarkable appearance at the Grimaldi Forum. The mother of Jacques and Gabriella had attended a drowning awareness event. The event was attended by all of Monaco’s first-grade pupils. Surrounded by no fewer than 334 children, she wore a monochrome black outfit consisting of a turtleneck jumper, straight trousers and a pair of pumps. A simple but elegant look, which she accompanied with a burgundy cape coat.
