On January 24, Eugenie of York shared the happy news on social networks: the princess is pregnant with her second child! A new pregnancy for the daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, but which must be monitored very closely. Explanations.
The news was welcomed with enthusiasm by the British: Princess Eugenie of York, daughter of Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew announced to be pregnant with a second child. A happy news shared in a very modern way on social networks by the main interested. The latter refers to the arrival of a second royal baby for next summer, a few weeks after the coronation of Charles III scheduled for May 6. A pregnancy that like that of August, her first child born in February 2021, will have to be closely monitored. And for good reason: the young woman has suffered from scoliosis since childhood.
At the age of 12, Princess Eugenie had to undergo surgery to correct her curved spine. Surgeons inserted titanium rods on both sides of her spine and screws at the top of her neck in a lengthy eight-hour operation. A procedure that would impact his entire life. “The positioning of these rods means that the princess may face a more difficult labor, as an epidural, which helps relieve pain during labor, may not be possible,” explains Hello magazine. Her first child, August, had to be delivered by cesarean section. This new pregnancy is therefore to be monitored week after week, and the delivery will undoubtedly again be very supervised.
