Princess Charlene of Monaco: the exceptional day she is planning in the run-up to Christmas

Princess Charlene has a busy schedule at the end of the year. After her appearances at the Grimaldi Forum and the Cap Fleuri residence, the princess will be back in the company of Prince Albert on 20 December for a special occasion, as the palace indicated on Instagram on Monday 27 November. The festive season is always synonymous with princely appearances in Monaco.

On 20 December, Charlene of Monaco, her husband Prince Albert II and their twins Jacques and Gabriella, aged 8, will open the doors of the royal palace for an exceptional day, according to an announcement made by their communications team on Instagram on Monday 27 November. An enchanted interlude for Monegasque children aged 5 to 12, who are invited to help decorate the Grimaldis’ Christmas tree.

“On this occasion, many presents will be distributed to the young inhabitants of the Principality. The aim of this tradition is to spread the magic of Christmas to the youngest members of the family”, explains Point de vue.

It promises to be a magical day: the courtyard of the palace will be transformed into a real Christmas village, with little wooden huts and decorations worthy of Santa’s original Lapland. “Pre-registered families will have the chance to go home with carefully selected gifts, such as dolls, backpacks and building sets, not to mention delicious treats”, added our confrères. This is a traditional “children’s party” on the Rock, which has been organised for several years now to kick off the festive season. Crown Prince Jacques and his sister Gabriella will also be adding their touch to the tree, in the company of their little compatriots.

Jacques and Gabriella in style for their last official outing

Jacques and Gabriella’s last public appearance was on 19 November, on the occasion of France’s bank holidays. While their mother Charlene caused quite a stir in a red ensemble and waders of the same colour, in a nod to the Monegasque flag, her twins were the real stars of this autumn outing. Already aware that all eyes are on him, the Crown Prince’s attitude was exemplary, dressed as a Carabiniere and following in his father’s footsteps. For her part, Gabriella seemed rather intrigued, in her adorable blue coat dress and matching beret, worn with a pair of black ballerina flats with Louboutin heels.
